Three-axis accelerometer suitable for electronic kits based on the Arduino platform. The accelerometer has a high resolution (13 bits) and measures reliably up to ± 13 G. The output is in 16 bit number format, available via SPI or I2C bus interface. The accelerometer can sense both static gravity and dynamic motion of the sensor. Idle and free fall detection is also present. These events generate interrupts on the output pins and can thus be conveniently operated from the connected microcontroller.

Funguje jako gyroskop, který jsem si myslel, že jsem původně koupil. Blíže jsem to nezkoumal, pro mojí potřebu zabezpečení tašky by měl stačit. Funguje mi s knihovnou Adafruit ADXL345, kterou jsem trefil asi na potřetí.

Modul byl při zkouškách plně funkční a byl zkoušen také na demo programu v prostředí Processing - pohyb kvádru. Vše fungovalo úžasně. Až bude více času, vyzkouším třeba alarm na kolo, založený na jeho pohybu :)
