Specific features of Spectrum Smart ABS include high impact resistance and relatively high stiffness. The "Smart" version demonstrates improved processing parameters that significantly reduce the difficulties that accompany additive manufacturing using standard ABS. These are essentially lower shrinkage and reduced emissions of irritating volatiles during processing. An undeniable advantage is that the material retains its properties at temperatures down to -40°C.

Compared to standard ABS, intelligent ABS is characterised by:

The ability to perform chemical treatments (acetone vapour) on Smart ABS ensures extremely smooth surfaces on printed items. Therefore, objects treated in the above manner are used in industrial design and the broadly defined decoration industry.

Cover

The fibre is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in its original, coated Spectrum Filaments packaging.
