SILK Filament is a PLA-based material for additive manufacturing with colour concentrates that give printed objects a satin texture effect. The surface satin texture of the printed items largely reduces the visibility of the layers on the side surface of the printed items. By using a specially developed pigment it is possible to maintain the classic properties of PLA, i.e. simple and efficient printing, with a very low shrinkage rate and relatively high tensile strength. The material is thus designed for those who appreciate simple printing and very high aesthetic properties.

The fibre is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in its original, coated Spectrum Filaments packaging.
