Eco-friendly 3D printing

Spectrum r-PLA is an eco-friendly 3D printing material that fits into the sustainability initiative. The filament is created by reusing recycled extrusion residue. The raw material is collected, crushed, re-mixed and homogenised into high quality and easy to print recycled PLA fibre with much less environmental impact. Spectrum r-PLA retains the properties of conventional PLA, which are simplicity and printing efficiency, combining them with very low shrinkage and relatively high tensile strength. To make 3D printing more sustainable, Spectrum r-PLA is wound on a cardboard, eco-friendly spool.

Note: As this is a fully recycled material, Spectrum r-PLA may not be available or may have longer lead times due to limited raw material availability.

Fiber wound on an eco-friendly cardboard spool. The spool contains information on material type, diameter, colour and recommended printing temperature. Each spool is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. All in the original Spectrum Filaments box.
