Spectrum PLA Premium is a polylactide based fibre, which belongs to aliphatic polymers. It is fully biodegradable. Carefully selected colour concentrates give products made from Spectrum PLA Premium intense colours over a wide spectrum. In addition, the choice of a suitable dye base for the filament extrusion pellets ensures highly efficient printing with extremely good adhesion of printed objects to the build beds of FDM/FFF 3D printers.

An undeniable advantage of Spectrum PLA Premium is the very low shrinkage during processing. It is therefore particularly useful for large 3D printers without a closed assembly chamber. Spectrum PLA Premium provides excellent surface quality and detail and delivers reliable results.

The properties of Spectrum PLA Premium fiber determine its use as a training material for those learning to use FDM/FFF additive manufacturing technologies. In addition, due to its extremely high aesthetic properties, the material is widely used in industrial design, specifically for concept and demo prototyping of designed finished and semi-finished products.

The material is also widely used for the production of gadgets and corporate promotional aids, as well as all kinds of toys, figurines, containers, handles and stands for interior design purposes.

Cover

The fibre is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in its original, coated Spectrum Filaments packaging.
