Spectrum PLA Pro is a modified PLA-based material for the production of filaments for 3D printing. By orienting the chemical composition of the material to achieve the satisfactory properties required for additively manufactured items, the advantages of PLA and ABS have been combined. The altered chemical composition has improved the material properties, making the filament suitable for industrial applications that require good mechanical strength properties, high printing efficiency and, most importantly, the ability to increase printing speed to increase the capacity of the additive manufacturing process.

PLA Pro filament can be processed at high temperature using a heating chamber. Once the model is crystallized, it features increased heat resistance (up to 85°C) and almost twice the durability of standard ABS.

*Uneven heating can lead to unexpected deformation and sub-optimal performance of printed parts, please ensure that there are no hot/cold spots in the heating chamber. Typical annealing time for parts with a wall thickness of approx. 3.2 mm is on average 20 minutes.

Cover

The fibre is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in its original, coated Spectrum Filaments packaging.
