Need a simple melody or alarm for your project? Throw buzzers or speakers in the cart.

Buzzers are divided into active and passive. You active they don't need any control signal, you just plug them in and the beeping works. K passive buzzer on the contrary, you have to supply a signal, for example PWM or tones from the Tone library in the Arduino IDE. You can create your own musical instruments with it, and at little cost. The fact that it has no control electronics makes it cheaper.
