Compact control unit for building 3-axis CNC machines with independent control of the spindle DC motor and laser head. A4988 stepper motor drivers are already integrated on the board, which allow control of stepper motors up to 2A current draw. The board has a trimmer for each driver to adjust the stepper motor current according to the specific type. This setting must always be made, otherwise the motor control will not work correctly! The board is also equipped with connectors for connecting limit switches and Z probes. The communication of the board is via USB and the board has an integrated USB converter CH340 for this purpose. It is also possible to connect an offline controller to control the machine without having to connect to a computer. The board is enclosed in a transparent plate box with mounting holes for attachment to the machine and is opted for active cooling by a small fan.

The unit is suitable as a replacement for an existing unit or for building new machines.
