Reprap Ramps 1.4 for 3D Printers, CNC

Popular Mega shield. All the electronics of most RepRap printers are controlled by this electronic board. This board is connected to and expands the Arduino Mega programmable logic controller (PLC). Includes 5 slots for A4988 (DRV8825 ) stepper motor drivers.

These boards are equipped with STP55NF06 power transistors, which have VGS_(th) 2-4V and therefore do not fully open at 5V control and at higher current draws, such as direct switching of the heating pad of the 3D printer, excessive heating of the transistor occurs and without effective cooling it will overheat and then destroy it! It is recommended to include a more powerful module, e.g. this one, behind the transistor when switching large currents: PWM MOSFET module HA210N06(clone) 25A for heated pad LA143039. This module is capable of switching currents of approx. 25A (tested up to 30A).
