Popular Mega shield including drivers and passive coolers.
All the electronics of most RepRap printers are controlled by this electronic board. This board is connected to and expands the Arduino Mega programmable logic controller (PLC). Includes 5 slots for A4988 (DRV8825 ) stepper motor drivers.
Board Specifications:

- 3 source outputs for printhead/fan/heated pad heating and 3 thermistor circuits for temperature measurement.

The DRV8825 stepper motor driver is an improved version of the classic A4988, designed after control in RAMPS 1.4 boards for 3D printers.
DRV8825 parameters:

- Max current 1.5A, 2.2A with active cooling,

- current protection,
- 6 resolutions: full-step, half-step, 1/4-step, 1/8-step, 1/16-step and 1/32-step,
