Popular Mega shield including drivers and passive coolers.

All the electronics of most RepRap printers are controlled by this electronic board. This board is connected to and expands the Arduino Mega programmable logic controller (PLC). Includes 5 slots for A4988 (DRV8825 ) stepper motor drivers.

Board Specifications:

• Adapted for Cartesian coordinate system
• Can be extended with various accessories
• 3 source outputs for printhead/fan/heated pad heating and 3 thermistor circuits for temperature measurement.
• Includes five stepper motor drivers
• Input voltage 12V

The classic version of the A4988 drivers is designed for control in RAMPS 1.4 boards for 3D printers and their motors.

A4988 parameters:

• Adjustable current limit,
• Max current 1.5A, 2.2A with active cooling,
• thermal protection,
• current protection,
• 6 resolutions: full-step, half-step, 1/4-step, 1/8-step and 1/16-step,
• Supply voltage 8,2 - 24V.
