LD2450 is a highly sensitive 24GHz module for detecting the presence of people, developed by Hi-link. Its principle of operation consists in the use of frequency-modulated continuous waves (FMCW) to detect human targets in a given space. Thanks to the processing of radar signals and precise algorithms for human body detection, it enables highly sensitive detection of the presence of people, while being able to recognize both moving and stationary individuals. It is also possible to calculate additional information, such as the distance to the destination.

This product is primarily designed for use in indoor environments, where it can detect moving or gently moving human bodies in a given area and provide detection results in real time. The maximum detection range is 6 meters and the distance resolution is 0.75 meters. The module provides a visual tool for configuration that allows you to easily set the detection range, detection sensitivity at various intervals, and delay time for absence detection, making it possible to adapt the module to various specific applications.

Supports outputs via GPIO and UART, is ready for immediate use ("plug and play"), and can be flexibly applied in various intelligent scenarios and end products.
