The thermal camera sensor detects non-contact thermal radiation in the infrared spectrum and converts it into electrical signals to generate a thermal image and temperature value on the display. This technology can be used in various industries such as animal protection, vehicle maintenance, medical, circuit protection, military equipment, etc. All kinds of thermal abnormalities that cannot be observed through appearance can be presented in the form of a thermal image. This sensor is composed of an array of 8x8 IR thermal sensors. When connected to the microcontroller, the array returns 64 individual temperature readings using the standard ^I2Cinterface. It's like those fancy thermal cameras, but compact and simple enough for easy integration.
