OLED Displays
What is OLED? Its full name is Organic Light-Emitting Diode, and it's a technology related to LED that uses electroluminescent materials made from organic compounds. These materials are placed between two electrodes, with at least one transparent — enabling the creation of both conventional and fully transparent displays. One advantage of OLED displays is the absence of LCD backlighting, as each pixel functions like a traditional LED diode.
