Product detailed description

TPL5110 low power timer

The TPL5110 Nano Timer is a low-power timer with an integrated MOSFET driver that is designed for power switching in field- or battery-powered applications.
The TPL5110, which consumes only 35nA, can shut down the power supply and drastically reduce the overall system standby during sleep time. Such energy savings allow the use of significantly smaller batteries. The TPL5110 provides selectable time intervals from 100ms to 7200s. In addition, the TPL5110 has a unique one-shot feature where the timer powers the MOSFET for only one cycle. The setting of the time interval is done by a potentiometric trimmer on the module board.

Specifications:

  • Supply voltage: 3-5V
  • Current consumption: approx. 20μA
  • Switching current: approx. 3A
  • Dimensions: 19.3x18mm
