Product detailed description

Sensor for measuring rainfall totals operating on the principle of a self-emptying tipping rainwater collector. It is therefore necessary that no objects are placed under the sensor where water could enter and damage it. Also, the drain holes on the underside of the sensor must not be covered and there must be sufficient space underneath for the water to drain freely from the sensor. For proper operation, the sensor must be positioned so that it is horizontal in all directions. The integrated circular spirit level integrated in the top of the sensor is used for this purpose. This sensor can be used as a spare part for the MI-SOL WH2081 weather station.
