Charger and balancer module for 2.7V/16V 6S supercapacitors

Protection module with balancing function for up to 6 supercapacitors. With this module, supercapacitors can be connected in series without risk of damage or destruction. During charging, all cells are balanced according to their state and degree of charge. The balancing accuracy is about 1%.

The charging and discharging of the supercapacitor does not pass directly through the protection plate, so the charging and discharging current is not limited and can be used in applications with extremely high discharge current. The charging voltage is determined by the number of cells and must not exceed the maximum charging voltage - number of cells x 2.7 V.

The module has only surge protection. The module contains LEDs that indicate the working status of the protection. When the cell voltage exceeds 2.7V, the corresponding LED lights up and the corresponding discharge circuit starts discharging the cell. When the cell voltage drops below 2.7V, the indicator light goes off and the cell stops discharging.
