The book "Micro:bit step by step" is intended for beginners who are just getting acquainted with Micro:bit and programming, as well as for more advanced users who already have experience with electronics and programming.

The book also includes examples, suggestions for experiments and games, or even brief "tricks" and method sheets, so the book will find use not only at home, but also in teaching in schools. The book also describes the most used kits and extension modules available in the Czech Republic.

The author uses mostly programming with the MakeCode beginner's block editor for the beginner's explanation. However, the book also includes a reference manual for JavaScript or Python programming and covers more advanced topics such as the internal message queue in the Micro:bit operating system or creating custom extensions (i.e. libraries).

The book is thus the first comprehensive Czech material on the Micro:bit learning platform, suitable for both beginners and advanced learners.
