The MCP2515 is a chip manufactured by Microchip semiconductor that supports CAN specification 2.0B. It can not only receive but also send standard and extended frames. This chip has two masks and six filters. Filters are used to filter out unwanted messages and thus reduce the load on the Microcontroller.

Funguje bezvadně.
Pro připojení k Raspberry Pi je třeba hack https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=141052&sid=2d4202327e3b82bffd51389a40ca370a kvůli napájení 3.3V a 5V.

Funguje bezvadně. Je potřeba mít na paměti, že spousta knihoven defaultně předpokládá 16Mhz krystal, je nutné nastavit správných 8 Mhz. Testováno v Subaru Outback 2004, 500kbps rychlost. Při krátkém propojení ani nebylo potřeba použít zakončovací odpor.
