This LED strip consists of WS2812B LEDs connected in series. These LEDs have a built-in chip with 3 bytes of memory. These adjust the intensity of the light of each of the three colours. This allows communication via a single channel interface. So it means that you can drive a lot of LEDs using a single digital pin of your Arduino. The strip comes with a controller with an infrared remote control, which can be used to completely control the LED strip. The controller also supports control from a mobile phone app via Bluetooth connection.

Please note: We have found that these tapes have blue and green swapped. However, this can be set in the mobile phone app - Color calibration.

Remark:

• This product is not a standalone functional unit and may require professional installation.

• To prevent overheating and to make the power supply last longer, we recommend at least a 30% power reserve.
• It is recommended to glue the strip on the aluminum rail for better cooling of the chips. This will rapidly increase their service life.
• When using longer tape units, we recommend feeding power from both ends, or in three meter increments to ensure stable color rendering along its entire length.
