Product detailed description

ePaper displays are gaining incredible popularity and it's no wonder. Above all, the very low power consumption and wide viewing angle make the ePaper so popular. But what does this display drive? That's why we designed ESPink. Large memory, low power consumption, easy connection of I2C sensors and a large community of basters around ESP32.

On the board you will of course find a connector for ePaper displays. Sometimes also called Eink. The display itself is very energy efficient, but it still draws some µA even outside the transcription phase. We wanted to prevent such a draw and so we added a transistor to the power supply, which switches the power supply. This transistor is connected to GPIO2 and the ePaper power supply is connected when GPIO2 is set to HIGH.

The board can be powered by a lipol battery and this is charged from the USB-C connector. Of course, you can also measure the voltage on the battery thanks to the integrated voltage divider and fed to the GPIO34.

Connecting sensors has never been easier and safer. No malfunctioning sensors caused by overfiring. Thanks to our μŠup connector, which includes a sensor lock, you can easily connect. Such sensors with a μŠup connector include LaskaKit SHT40 Air temperature and humidity sensor or LaskaKit SCD41 CO2, temperature and air humidity sensor .

There are also plenty of GPIOs to plug in whatever you need.
