Product detailed description
Sensor for current detection up to 31A based on Hall sensor. The output is an analog signal where every 45mV corresponds to 1A. The normal output voltage is 1.7V which means that it is possible to measure current in both directions. On the pin marked FAULT there is an alarm that will alert the board if the current is too high. The Senor can be used with any board that has at least one analog pin, tolerates input voltages of both 3.3V and 5V, and has an output range of up to 3V.
The measured side can be connected to the sensor using screw terminals or screws. Because the sensor uses the Hall effect to measure current and does not just sense the voltage from the shunt resistor, it does not cause any voltage drop on the measured side and you do not have to deal with heat issues. The disadvantage of these sensors is usually a big noise, ours solves this problem with a filter capacitor at the output.
