The module allows control of the GPIO output pins via a web interface. It connects to the network only via an RJ45 Ethernet connector. Suitable for remote relay switching.

The basic setup the module comes with:

• IP address: 192.168.1.4
• "Port": 30000 (this is not actually an IP port!)
• IP port: 80 - HTTP (cannot be changed)

With the basic software that comes with the module, all modules have the same MAC address, which cannot be changed. It is not possible to connect more than one of these modules to one LAN. The module also does not maintain any settings after power is removed.

For better use of this module, the https://github.com/nielsonm236/NetMod-ServerApp project can be used . With this software it is possible to use the module with both HTTP and MQTT protocol and it is possible to connect devices communicating via I2C or 1-wire bus to GPIO pins. It allows change the IP address, gateway address (default router), netmask, port number (actual port number), and MAC address. It is therefore possible to run multiple modules on a single LAN. It also stores the current configuration, which is then automatically restored in the event of a power failure.
