Product detailed description
This model is designed for charging 2S/3S lithium batteries, using constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV). It does not have overcurrent and short circuit protection, we do not recommend using it with a battery that does not have integrated protection.
Protection functions:
- Constant current and constant voltage control for charging the connected lithium battery,
- Overvoltage protection - the module will safely charge the battery up to 8.4V (2S) or 12.6V (3S)
- DIP switch sets 2S or 3S battery (2 or 3 cells in series, does not provide balancing !)
The module includes two LEDs:
- It does not light up during maintenance charging and lights up during constant current charging.
- LED charging instructions
The charging current can be configured using a trimmer or hardwired using jumpers.
The module consumes a very small amount of current (µA) when connected to a battery. It's a good idea to leave it connected to the battery for a longer period of time. However, if you do not plan to charge the battery for 4 months, we recommend disconnecting the module from the battery.
