Non-combustible construction material

Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 is a new flame retardant construction material based on polyamide 6. The ceramic fillers used increase thermal stability without processing problems. Thanks to the halogen-free flame retardant used, the UL-94 V0 flammability rating is achieved on printed parts with a thickness of ?.4 mm. Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 also has low moisture absorption, high temperature resistance and good electrical insulation. No heated chamber is needed during printing and no deformation (shrinkage) occurs. The material is compatible with HIPS and PVOH carrier materials.

Components manufactured with Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 can be operated at elevated temperatures up to 120°C long term (20,000h) and up to 160°C short term (max. 200h).

The raw material from which Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 is made complies with the railway industry standard EN 45545.

In order to achieve the very attractive properties of Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 from a technical point of view, the basic rules of storage of these materials (in dry and dark conditions with humidity below 15%) must be observed. To achieve the best possible printed object parameters, it is recommended to dry the material before processing.

Tip: Due to the substantial content of glass microspheres, it is recommended to use nozzles with diameters exceeding the standard value of 0.4 mm. The presence of glass microspheres can also cause wear on standard nozzles; therefore, hardened steel or ruby nozzles are recommended for long-term application of Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0.
