Allows the device to send and receive TTL data via Bluetooth interface.

The HC-06, or HC-06-D module (with 3.2 V regulator on a larger board) has four described pins connected to pin contacts (RxD, TxD, GND and VCC) on one side, on the other side there is an antenna formed by a meander on the PCB.

The module's supply voltage can range from 3.3 to 5 V and is board stabilized for the circuitry. Input voltages higher than 7 V will destroy the module.

The input and output signal level is 3.2 V, when working with a microcontroller powered by 5 V, the levels need to be adjusted. The output signal can be taken from both the TxD and RxD pins, which allows communication with the module over a single wire, should this be necessary.
