Micro:bit has several smart sensors directly built-in: programmable buttons, display (5×5 dots), input/output ports, accelerometer - acceleration, shake, tilt,
magnetometer - orientation to the Earth's magnetic field, temperature sensor (processor cores), light intensity meter, bluetooth. This enables reality-connected programming without the use of additional components. In addition, the micro:bit can be used to build and program "smart bricks" controlled by a second micro:bit or mobile phone.

BBC micro:bit V2.2 offers an improved environment that provides an extensive set of new features, but still retains all the important elements that users love about micro:bit.
