Product detailed description

ARM STM32 NUCLEO-L053R8 Nucleo-64 Development Board

The STM32L053 microcontrollers feature a high-performance ultra-low-power 32-bit ARM®Cortex®-M0+ RISC core operating at up to 32MHz, high-speed 64kB embedded Flash and 8kB SRAM, a rich number of enhanced I/O ports and peripherals connected to two APB buses. The microcontroller offers one 16-channel 12-bit ADC, one single-channel 12-bit DAC, three universal 16-bit timers - one with 6 channels and two with 2 channels, one 16-bit ultra-low power, as well as standard and advanced communication interfaces: two I2C, four SPI, two USART, USB 2.0, LCD driver.

These features make the STM32L053 series of microcontrollers suitable for a wide range of applications such as motor drives, control applications, medical and handheld devices, PC and gaming peripherals, GPS platforms, industrial applications, PLCs, inverters, printers, scanners, alarm systems, videophones, and more.

This development board allows anyone to try out new ideas and quickly create prototypes with any STM32 MCU. By sharing the Arduino connectors and ST Morpho pin headers, the STM32 Nucleo boards can be easily expanded with a large number of specialized application hardware accessories.

The STM32 Nucleo boards integrate the ST-Link V2 programmer/debugger, so no additional hardware is required for development. On these boards, the programmer is designed as a breakaway module, so it can be detached from the board and used separately if necessary.
