Arduino Nano 33 IoT, original
Arduino The Nano 33 IoT is the easiest and cheapest entry point to upgrade existing devices (and create new ones) to be part of the IoT. Whether you are working on building a sensor network connected to your office or home router, or if you want to create a BLE device that sends data to your mobile phone, the Nano 33 IoT is your complete solution for many basic IoT applications. The main processor of the board is a low-power 32-bit SAMD21 Arm® Cortex®-M0. The WiFi and Bluetooth® connection is made using the u-blox NINA-W10 module. It is a low-power chip operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. In addition, secure communication is provided by the Microchip® ECC608 crypto chip. The board is equipped with a 6-axis IMU, making this board ideal for simple vibration warning systems, pedometers, relative robot positioning, etc.
Connecting to a WiFi network is as easy as flashing the LED light. You can connect your board to any kind of existing WiFi network, or use it to create your own access point. The specific set of examples we provide for the Nano 33 IoT can be found on the WiFiNINA library reference page.
The Nano 33 BLE communication chipset can be both a Bluetooth client and host. Something quite unique in the world of microcontroller platforms. To see how easy it is to create a Bluetooth control panel or peripheral, explore the examples in the ArduinoBLE library.
