Arduino Esplora is an electronic board equipped with an ATmega32U4 microcontroller. The board is derived from the well-known Leonardo model, but differs with a lot of built-in sensors such as light outputs, joystick, slider, temperature sensor, accelerometer, microphone, light sensor. The device is equipped with two TINKERKIT connectors, through which it is possible to connect a colour LCD display.

You can also easily connect a small TFT display to Esplora and create your own video game.

Esplora and Leonardo differ from all previous Arduino boards in that the ATmega32U4 microcontroller has a built-in USB interface, so there is no need to use additional special circuits to communicate with the computer. The Esplora can appear to the connected computer as either a mouse and keyboard or as a virtual (CDC) serial/COM port.
