The module is equipped with 16 separate relays that can be controlled via RS485 line using Modbus RTU protocol or by AT commands. In the case of the Modbus RTU protocol, up to 64 of these modules can be controlled over two RS485 line wires. The module address can be set using the DIP switches on the board. In case of using AT commands, only one can be controlled. Individual relays can not only be switched on and off, but can also be switched with a delay, set the number of repeated switching on/off, switch the relay only on a short pulse and more.

The entire relay module is mounted in a bracket that can be used to mount the module on a standard DIN rail. It can thus be easily used even in industrial environments.
